Today, I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit. There is a "DC Social" group on Flickr that gets amateur photographers together in the area to meet up and geek out about our lenses in a public setting. I did not know anyone, but went anyways. It was an extremely friendly group and I cant wait to go back next month.
We met at Vapianos at 18th and M. Instead of mints when you leave, there's a bowl of gummy bears. I just was taking a photo of the bowl when someone put the spoon back in, creating a nice effect. After the bar/restaurant, we went on a walk around the Dupont area.
