I knew that one day of my 366 had to be of the oddity of my morning bus commute. Busses are supposed to come once every 3-4 minutes on this route. I love it when there's a huge crowd of people waiting for 15 minutes or so and then 6 busses show up at once. Taken at 16th and U NW.
Bus 5 is actually one of those double-busses and bus 6 is actually out of the picture. Wish I had my 18-200 today instead of the 90 macro.
I take the S2/S4 to Federal Triangle - NONE of these were that route either. ugh.

The 16th Street S buses are terrible! Walk out my door and take 20 steps to get to them and more than 20 minutes to wait for them...and when they come, they come in droves!! My job moved to Crystal City a few months ago--and I hate that commute, but I don't miss the 16th St. caravan one bit.
